This video is a perfect example of the fact that we should ask “Why” and “So What” more often. By far the best teachers to do this are our children.
Children are very direct in the way they interact with the world around them.
- Around the age of 3 you will find them asking lots of ‘Why’ questions;
- Around the age of 8 their language gets a bit sharper, as they respond with the question ‘So what’ to just about anything that comes their way.
Those are two questions we should ask more often. I know that whenever I go in “Why”-mode and “So-what”-mode I am giving people a hard time. But in the end, the result is better … and simpler.
