I love the way Elisabeth Gilbert talks about genius and daemons and how she quotes Tom Waits: “Excuse me, can’t you see that I’m driving?”.
She makes a very powerful and liberating statement at the end the talk: “I showed up for my part of the job” and she motivates the artist in all of us to keep showing up for our part of the job. Soooooo encouraging. Thank you Elisabeth!
