I am proud to report that my article Music and Leadership: A Perfect Combination was chosen as one of eight finalists in the HCI Human Capital M-Prize on Leadership. During the course of the challenge, the organizers of Management Innovation eXchange received nearly 50 entries from people who wanted to share their ideas about how organizations can develop leaders worthy of the challenges facing them in the 21st century.
By the end of January 2012 I will need to rework, fine-tune and improve the article if I want to make it to Arizona. At the end of January, they will choose three winners who will win a trip to the 2012 HCI Human Capital Summit in Scottsdale, Arizona, on March 5-7 to discuss their ideas on stage.
